Once again, Winters has shocked and awed me into a stupor with her magical words. Picking up immediately where Hundreds left off, my heart started in my throat, sank to my gut and slowly worked its way to a steady, hard pulse within the confines of my chest. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough yet, wanted the words to last forever...but alas, in true Pepper Winters fashion, I am left hanging by a thin, Hawk-lined, thread.
